If something went wrong, it helps to mention your device, the iOS version, your farm's level and what you were doing.

How do I play?

Tap an empty field and choose a seed. When a crop hops it is ready: tap it, or swipe across several, to send them to the barn. Feed animals what they like and they give you eggs, milk and more. Workshops turn what you've grown into something better, such as wheat into flour and flour into bread. A short tutorial walks a new farm through the first steps, and How to Play under the gear button explains the rest.

How do I earn coins and level up?

Fill orders at the farm stand. Each one pays coins and stars; stars raise your level, and every level brings something new. Neighbours who walk up to the stand will buy things too, and the barn's market takes a few of each item a day for a smaller price.

What is energy?

Planting, feeding an animal and making something each use 1 energy. Energy comes back by itself, 1 every 2 minutes, and each new level adds some. Tap the bolt at the top to see when it will be full.

What are gems for?

Gems buy more land, a bigger barn, extra places in a workshop's line, a few special decorations and energy refills. You get gems every time you level up, sometimes from the prize cards, and from the garden gnome.

Is anything locked behind a purchase?

No. Every crop, animal, workshop and decoration is earned by playing. The only thing sold is packs of gems, for players who want more of them sooner.

I bought gems and they didn't arrive

Close the game completely and open it again while online; a purchase that finished is delivered the next time the game starts. If they still don't appear, email me with the date of the purchase. Gems are kept on the device they were bought on.

How do I move or sell things?

Hold anything for a moment, or choose Move Things under the gear button, then drag things to where you want them. Drop one on the bin to sell it. The general store, barn, farm stand and greenhouse can be moved but not sold. Tap Done to get back to farming.

What is the daily gift?

Once a day the game gives you a few items. Coming back several days in a row makes the gift bigger, up to the seventh day.

Do the seasons change anything?

Only how the farm looks. It follows the real seasons by your device's calendar; crops grow and sell the same all year.

Where is my farm saved?

On your device. Deleting the game deletes your farm, coins and gems.
